Close up

"Close up" was a guerrilla exhibition with the purpose of honouring Reuters photography and putting press photography and its importance in focus. Fragmented and blown up pieces of a photographies would appear through out the sub way, commercial stands and on the streets of Barcelona while guiding the audience to the exhibition site where the "insignificant" would appear live as it would create a shelter for the homeless people that has inhabited exterior parts of the museum of modern art MACBA. Parallel to this the audience would be guided in to the museum where they would be taken by surprise while seeing the complete photo in its original and much smaller size displaying a sad reality enhancing how selective we can be with what we want to see and choose to ignore. Things are not always what the seem to be.
